Against the backdrop of the energy transition, a publicly accessible, comprehensive, and demand-oriented charging infrastructure is increasingly the focus of politics and energy suppliers. However, its construction and operation are characterized by high investment and maintenance costs. The economic viability heavily depends on the selection of suitable locations. Due to a lack of previous experience, many companies have difficulties in identifying economically strategic charging locations. For this reason, Thüga AG commissioned us to identify strategic locations together with them.
With the help of LIA’s potential analysis for charging infrastructure, Thüga’s partner companies reliably calculate the expected utilization of a charging point for various locations throughout Germany. This provides them with independent and objective analyses as a basis for their investment decisions, maximizing the utilization of their charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The forecast model uses historical charging processes at approx. 6000 charging points in German cities and rural areas as well as other geo-data sources.
The basis for the analysis is a given geographical region in Germany. You simply select the postcode areas relevant to you.
LIA allows you to calculate the expected utilization of various charging points at locations throughout Germany. You can also evaluate the infrastructure and microlocation of any site.
